Great book!

I was not familiar with this story or the author. It is a lovely story about friendship and the desire to do something nice for our friends. I like that there is no deus ex machina in which the “real Santa” shows up or anything like that. Mr. Dog just does his thing. The illustrations are also wonderful

I love Mr. Dog

Mr. Dog is such a wonderful character and his story is beautifully told. I love the language steeped in the American story-telling tradition. It is fun to read and is enjoyed by my two little grandchildren who listen. I’m hoping for a holiday tradition planted by Mr. Dog last night on Christmas Eve.
